Alejandra (Alex) Garza, marketing strategist, has more than 20 years in marketing, strategy development and management.   She is passionate in delivering the right message, in the right manner, to people that matter.

She has an excellent track record of building brands, developing new markets, and growing new business opportunities with a special focus on multi-cultural communities.   Alex has led teams in creating member acquisition and retention strategies for national healthcare insurance companies.

In addition, Alex has served over 15+ years in various boards of community-based organizations, where she has provided leadership in creating new strategic direction, branding standards and board development programs.  She is a firm believer in the value of social enterprise initiatives that combine for-profit and non-profit business visions, goals and practices.

Alex received a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago. Additionally, she completed “Governing for Non-profit Excellence” Program at Harvard Business School’s Executive Education.
